In our recent study we noticed that the antichrist power desires worship that is only due to Jesus Christ. We also saw how those who had gained the victory over the beast keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (see Revelation 14 : 12 ). Looking back to Daniel 7 : 25 , we see that the antichrist , being revealed by the little horn , would think to change God’s Holy Law. So just what is there about God’s law that is so important that the antichrist would want to try to change? In the Bible book of Romans chapter 6 and verse 16 , we see the principle that “to whom you present yourselves servants to obey , you are that one’s servant whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death , or of obedience leading to righteousness.” We notice over in Revelation 14 verse 7 there is a warning given to worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water. John chapter 1 : verses 3 and 10 point to Jesus Christ as the One that made heaven and earth (see also Ephesians 3 : 9 ; Hebrews 1 :2 ; Colossians 1 : 16 ). It should now be easy to see the significance of the scripture found in Luke 24 : 27 where we find these words, “And beginning at Moses and all of the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.” At the time Jesus fulfilled those words , the scriptures that we refer to as the new testament had not yet been written (see 1st Corinthians 10 : 1 – 4 ). It must now be clear. It has always been Christ. Now knowing that , we can now notice the problem that antichrist has with the 10 commandments that Jesus wrote with His own finger (see Exodus 31 : 18). One of them points directly to Jesus as the Creator. Looking at Exodus 20 verse 11 we read , ” For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”
